Poor Ink Transfer
Ink may appear to be drying out in the roller train or press seems to be unable to adequately supply the proper ink water emulsion to the plate.
| Cause | Cure |

| Improperly or inadequately cleaned rollers. | Thoroughly wash roller train. If roller are glazed with gum or lint rinse with hot water. |
| Improperly set or damaged rollers. | Inspect and adjust rollers to manufacturers specs. |
| Fountain solution and ink compatibility. | Consult fountain solution and ink manufacturer. |
| Ink tack to high. | Lower tack enough to overcome problem. If the issue persists talk with your ink manufacturer. |
